Organisers have promised the event will include ‘twice the jazz and more of the classic rock, indie rock, pop and urban’ than previous years. Last year’s event hosted a rock-centric bill headlined by Deep Purple and The Script.
It will be a return visit for Cullum, who performed at the fifth addition of Dubai’s longest running major music festival back in 2007.
With his commercial stylings and popular cover versions Cullum is currently classified as the best selling ‘jazz’ musician in the UK.
The event will run from Thursday February 13 to Friday February 21, with eight headline acts to play over four main concert nights, and five nights of smaller Jazz Garden concerts. Previously announced headliner Murs will play on Valentine’s Day.
