In the cultural capital of the world, the Clinton Street Baking Company is something of a weekend institution for New Yorkers, attracting lengthy Lower East Side queues eager to dine on its generous breakfast and brunch offerings.

Dubai is no stranger to decadent weekend dining, so it’s a natural fit that the brand is bringing its infamous homey food to Downtown, opening at Burj Views in January 2014.

Looking at the New York menu, we can expect all-day dining, with everything from Martha Stewart-approved biscuits to the all-American buttermilk fried chicken dinner, served with honey-Tabasco sauce, slaw and sides.

Clinton Street Baking Company was launched in 2001 by husband and wife team, Neil Kleinberg and DeDe Lahman, who pride themselves on using fresh ingredients.

Locals are said to have affectionately nick-named the restaurant the 'King of Brunch', while Time Out New York awarded the spot its 'Best Breakfast/Brunch' award in 2007.

Dubai will host the third branch of the bakery-come-restaurant, following a recent launch in Tokyo.
