Thursday February 13 concert will go ahead with new act after star pulls out to enter rehab
Chart sensation Ke$ha has been forced to pull out of her upcoming Dubai gig, after checking into rehab to seek help for a reported eating disorder.
But organisers of the inaugural RedFest DXB have already parachuted in a new headliner for the Thursday February 13 gig – Jessie J.
‘I was so looking forward to performing at RedFestDXB but I need to follow my doctor's advice and get my health back on track,’ Ke$ha told fans in an official statement from concert organisers Done Events.
Meanwhile Friday’s line-up remains unchanged, with The Lumineers, John Newman, Naughty Boy and A-Yo all set to perform on Valentine’s Day.
Thomas Ovesen, chief operating officer of Done Events, said: ‘We are extremely pleased to announce that superstar and chart topper Jessie J will bring her fantastic live show to RedFestDXB, now performing a Thursday night headlining set to replace Ke$ha.’
