We’re either tightening our belts in the economic crisis and sharing cars, or more of us are using the bus.
Whatever the case, Dubai traffic is improving, according to a recent report. More people than ever are using the bus, while many familes have gone from two cars to one to save money, as the global credit crunch takes it toll on Dubai.
At least there’s some good news coming out of the crisis.

This theory about why traffic is reduced doesn't hold water. The reason there is less traffic, if in fact we have seen a reduction, is the massive redundancies that have forced people to leave town. That's why they aren't driving around Dubai...they aren't here anymore and they left their cars at the airport!
