Dubai Motor Festival revs into town: Enjoy the engine-revving activities and motor sports. The festival is an umbrella for a host of events including Dubai Motor Village, where you’ll find all things motor sports-related and see a light show conducted entirely by cars. Free. Noon. Game night at La Porte des Indes:

Don Alfonso comes to town:

Listen to popular opera live: The second in the Opera Pop concert series will feature singing by Russian diva Guzel Teymour-Ganieva and tenors Murat Öztürk from Turkey and Wim Hoste of Belgium.
