Canadian crooner Michael Bublé is set to bowl over UAE music fans with two gigs at the Dubai International Stadium next year.
The swing singer – best known for covering easy listening classics including I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Sway and Come Fly With Me – will play two huge shows at the stadium in Sports City on March 12 and 13.
It will be the first time the four-time Grammy-winning artist has performed in the UAE.
Bublé will make the stop as part of his 200-gig To Be Loved tour, which launched with 10 sell-out shows at London’s O2 Arena in 2013. As well as covers, the singer’s original songs like Home, Haven’t Met You Yet and Everything have helped make him a household name around the world.
Announcing the show, which is being organised by Dubai-based Louder Entertainment, Bublé said: “I have travelled to many wonderful places around the world but the Middle East is somewhere that I have always wanted to perform.
“I have such incredibly loyal and supportive fans here in the UAE and I cannot wait to meet them.
“Although I will only be in Dubai for a short time, I promise you it will be a night to remember.”
Tickets will be available for pre-sale from 8am on January 5 and general sale from January 7. Fans can register for tickets at www.louderentertainment.com from January 1.
