Check out a Palestinian Film Festival: See Palestinian culture through this pop-up film festival. Movies will be screened at A4 Space and The JamJar in Dubai and at Masrah Al Qasba theatre and Mirage City Cinema in Sharjah. See website for schedule. Free. Sat and Mon 6pm. The JamJar, Al Quoz. Head to a theatre fiesta: See the works of Indian writer, film director and poet, Sampooran Singh Kalra. The weekend will include a collage of literary works, a dramatisation and you can meet the artist, too. Dhs125-500. Ductac, Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha (04 369 2128).

Have an urban night out: Head to URBN Saturdays, a night dedicated to the best of hip-hop and R&B music. Ladies receive complimentary drinks all night from the pink mixed drinks menu. Enjoy the Super Kids Nursery charity event: Get down to The Irish Village this month for a brilliant day out at the Super Kids Nursery’s charity event. Little ones will love all the activities on offer including face painting and arts and crafts, a Hello Kitty beauty salon, bouncy castle, Posh Paws petting zoo and lots more.
