Michael is looking forward to his visit but hopes that the venue will be very prepared for helping him cope with the intense heat this summer.
"I loved performing in Dubai a couple of years ago, and can't wait to return with my new shows in June at the hopefully heavily air-conditioned Dubai World Trade Centre!” he joked in a statement announcing his gigs.
He’s a busy man as he recently shared on Twitter additions to his already-hectic work schedule.
“EXTRA warm up dates in June & July now on sale for Oxford, Bristol, Blackpool and Buxton!” he posted.
Last time he was here, Michael's Showtime tour dates – which saw him make more than 640,000 people laugh in two sold out events in June 2013 – it turned out to be the biggest selling comedy tour in the world.
His other stops included sold out arenas in South Africa, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, while his show in Johannesburg was the largest ever comedy show in Africa.
His Dubai shows won the Time Out Nightlife Award for Best Comedy show and in Britain he broke records with his 10-night residency at London's O2 Arena.
Fan in the UAE may have gotten to know him from OSN’s Live at the Apollo broadcast but the stand-up comedian has also headed up his own chat shows in the UK.
Thomas Ovesen, Chief Operating Officer, Done Events said: "After his sold out shows in 2013, I am sure tickets will fly out the door for one of the world’s most popular and best-selling comedians”.
Michael’s shows will open with a performance by Paul Tonkinson.
Tickets are priced from Dhs350 and are available from 10am Tuesday 24 March from www.doneevents.com and all Virgin Megastores.
