As Dubai redundancies increase, there is better news on the horizon for any out of work engineers…
Finally, there’s some good news for Dubai job hunters. According to a report published in The National today, Dubai-based mechanical, engineering and plumbing firm Drake International is looking to fill 100 positions.
The company is holding an open day on Saturday (February 21) at its Dubai Investment Park offices to recruit up to 100 new staff as the company prepares to start work on a Dhs36.7 million cooling plant project in Sudan.
“As a large-scale contracting company, right now we are faced with a valuable opportunity, which enables us to secure a lot of the skill we require,” said Zeina Tabari, the chief corporate affairs officer at Drake & Scull.
She added: “We have a very wide and comprehensive expansion plan for DSI, for which we need the best staff available. This is the perfect opportunity to recruit some of the top minds which have been working in the industry in recent years.”
