Adding a sleight more than lick of paint to the former Amatista nightclub, Republique proves size isn’t everything. The compact club hosts a lively dancefloor and some interesting nights, like the monthly MoFunk, that may not survive in larger venues. The Address Dubai Mall (04 438 8888).

Republique is not only the most eclectic club in Dubai, it serves a greater purpose than celebrating the multitudes of pretentious people. It celebrates the music, and the music alone. And, because of that, people flock to Republique, let their hair down and dance the night away under the lights of the disco ball. The resident DJ|DC is amazing, consistently giving the crowd exactly what they want to hear, service is great, & most importantly the people are a fantastic fun-loving crowd. Weekends are always packed, so you need to book ahead, & Ladies Nights on Tuesdays are a great excuse to let off some steam in the middle of the work week. I definitely hope Republique wins all 3 awards they have been nominated for, but especially for Best New Club in Dubai!
