This March, prepare to be entertained by Wonho Chung, an Arabic speaking stand-up comedian of Korean descent, who is a truly global entertainer. Fresh off his successful stint as host of the 2010 edition of the Dubai International Film Festival, Wonho is now ready to show residents of the city of Dubai the lighter side of life!

Chung's comedy career began in 2007 when Show Time Arabia approached him to join the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour as the "Korean" they were looking for. Although they originally seeked a North Korean to complete the Axis, they instead settled for a South Korean, who speaks Arabic.

Wonho toured with the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour for a month, performing in 27 shows in front of 20,000 people collectively in Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon and Dubai. Chung's first TV appearance was in a show comedy's follow-up mini-series to the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour in the Middle East, a nine episode reality documentary aptly dubbed "3 guys and Wonho." The show went onto win a golden trophy at the 2008 promax BDA awards ceremony held in Dubai.
