Conceptualised to enrich the inner self with meaningful creative moments, Tambourine Live brings to you, soul inspiring, vibrant experiences in the middle-east through tailor-made live stage performances showcasing off-beat concepts and themes incorporating all genres of performing arts presented with finesse and an innovative style.

After the successful launch of Mystic Mélange, Tambourine Live proudly presents Infinite India, a celebratory confluence of Indian performing arts in commemoration of Republic day. An evening of great performances from contemporary artists well known for blending the traditional with modern representing contemporary India rooted in its cultural values.

ACT I: Dance recital by Padmashri Shobana and group:
Acclaimed dancer and an actress, Shobana, a Padmashri award winner, is among one of the finest and most accomplished dancers in India today, renowned for her Abhinaya, her grace and skills. She will be performing with her troupe in a recital specially designed for Republic day. 

ACT II: Jugalbandi by Shashank Subramanian and Purbayan Chatterjee:
Shashank Subramanian – Storming into the field of music at age seven, Shashank Subramanian is presently considered as one of the best Bamboo Flute artists recognized world over. The BBC World TV have telecast a documentary on Shashank titled 'Destination Music'. 

Purbayan Chatterjee: Recipient of the President of India Award for being the “Best Instrumentalist of the country” at the age of 15, Purbayon Chatterjee is one of the brightest shining stars of the Senia Maihar Gharana playing in the unique and incomparable style of Pt. Nikhil Banerjee. He is noted for amalgamating traditional Indian classical music with contemporary world music genres.

They will be accompanied by leading percussionists Parupalli Phalgun on Mridangam and Anubrata Chatterjee on tabla.
