A brand new music festival is coming to Dubai, featuring several of the hottest acts in the world right now. There's also a sprinkling of some old school favourites.
Top of the bill at Fiesta De Los Muertos is everyone's favourite producer, Major Lazer, who is responsible for the biggest hit of the summer, Lean On.
Made up of DJ extraordinaire Diplo, plus Trinidadian mix master Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, 2016 has undoubtedly been their biggest year after more than six years in the game.
They have worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, Pharrell Williams , mostly in a producer role, but branched out in some style this year when their collaboration with DJ Snake exploded onto the scene. It was part of the album Peace Is The Mission, which also featured Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding and Pusha T.
Joining them on stage at the Autism Rocks Arena is American pop rock band DNCE. making their Middle East debut. With Joe Jonas taking the lead on the microphone, this Los Angeles-based group premiered their hit tune, Cake by the Ocean, in September last year, and have since been touring across USA.
They also performed many a warm-up acts for Selena Gomez during her Revival tour in America. Other members of the band are Cole Whittle (bassist), JinJoo Lee (guitarist), and Jack Lawless (drummer). DNCE have since released other popular songs like Toothbrush, Pay My Rent and Jinx.
Elsewhere on the bill are reformed girl group All Saints, who are best loved for 1990s pop classics like Pure Shores, Under The Bridge and Never Ever. They also famously released a reworking of Lady Marmalade.
The group, made up of Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Appleton sisters Nicole and Natalie reunited in 2013 and are currently touring the album Red Flag, which debuted at number three in the UK.
Remix masters The Mariachis are also on the bill with local stars Hollaphonic.
