Putting music to an image revolutionized the concept of a motion picture. Whether in a film or a TV serial, soundtracks provided a dramatic accompaniment and formed the background to stories that touched our souls or brought joy to our hearts. Soundtracks, the latest themed concert by Sharq Orchestra will be staged at the First Group Theatre in Madinat Jumairah, Dubai on 6 December2009. As the name suggests the concert will focus on soundtracks of movies and TV serials from around the world with a focus on Arabic productions. All featured soundtracks will be presented with all new orchestral arrangements,exclusive to Sharq Orchestra.As customary to all of their concerts, Sharq will also feature their repertoire of Arabic and international music some of which are compositions exclusive to Sharq and launching for the first time. Sharq Orchestra is a Dubai based Orchestra with more than 45 musicians of 22 different nationalities.
Solo violinist Mohamad Hamami, founder and conductor of the orchestra is sure to delight the audience while accompanying the orchestra or playing solo.
