One of the biggest DJs in the world hits Club 400...
This guy must surely be one of the biggest DJs in the world. After all, how many others have had a film named after them? Granted, the film – It’s All Gone Pete Tong – was absolute rubbish, but he remains pretty unique in that respect (though the idea of Hugh Jackman as a vampire-hunting Van Buuren appeals to our perverse sense of humour).
Anyway, old Tongy’s set at The 400 Club this week will showcase his wealth of DJing experience, including a five-year stint at Pacha in Ibiza (he left to open his own night at Ibiza’s Eden club) and 19 years as the host of a beloved BBC radio show, initially known as Essential Selection and then, later, simply called Pete Tong. Both have kept him right up to date, so expect a thick chunk of the best new house tunes on the night. Pete Tong plays The 400 Club on December 10.
