Germany’s second biggest cultural festival returns to Dubai for the second year running, with a celebration at Nasimi Beach. This fancy-dress party will mark the end of the Karneval festive season, which officially begins on November 11 at 11.11am and runs until the end of February. I am an international flight attendant traveling often to Dubai. I always read Time Out for restaurant reviews and activities I can do on my layovers. Will there be any Mardi Gras celebrations in Dubai? My birthday is March 8th (Fat Tuesday) and I would love to celebrate at one of the local bars or clubs. I also read your travel books and magazines pertaining to the many other cities worldwide that I travel to, and I think they are excellent. I think all hotels should have these magazines available, as does the Crowne Plaza, Dubai Festival City, where we stay. I like the one for Sao Paulo, Braizil, too, and I wish more newstands there would carry your magazine. Keep up the good work. Many thanks, Lisanne - United Airlines
