Chi has gone superstar crazy of late. No sooner did Trevor Nelson finish his set of smooth rhythm and blues than portly pop star Sean Kingston warbled and waddled in and out of Dubai. Now it’s the turn of Busta Rhymes – most famous for his deranged ditty ‘Woo ha! I’ve got you all in check’ – to strut his proverbial stuff at Chi. The US rapper comes to Dubai as he continues to procrastinate over his work-in-progress album The Chemo/E.L.E.2 (Extinction Level Event 2), which he hopes will ‘save’ hip-hop. As one does, Busta. Whether we’ll get to hear any of Busta’s latest offerings is uncertain, but we can expect to be bombarded with a raucous selection of hits from across his eight albums. Woo ha, indeed.
