The first thing you need to know about Jason Carter is he plays an 18-string guitar harp – and still only uses five fingers. But it barely matters: even when playing straight with just the regular six strings, he can do things that would make any normal guitarist weep, creating layered plucking/tapping/droning pitter-patters of acoustic wizardry.
These surely-supernatural talents have seen Carter tour to more than 80 countries and release 15 albums over a 30-year career. He’s a humble man as well, known for exchanging pleasantries (and rambling anecdotes) with the audience. He’ll be joined here by The Fridge founder Shelly Frost on harp.
