For a country so small, how exactly did Holland produce so many world-renowned DJs? Alongside the likes of Dubai regulars Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Tiësto stands Joris Voorn, who went down a storm when he played Sandance in Dubai in October 2011. Since his seminal 2009 release, Balance014 – which saw the decksmith mix a staggering 100 tunes into a single double-disc mix – and his Ibiza smash ‘Sweep the Floor’ in the same year, Voorn has been a major force.

The 35-year-old joins a growing list of talent to have graced the decks at N’Dulge’s new Access All Areas night, with the likes of Roger Ulysses, Grandmaster Flash, Roger Sanchez and 2ManyDJs playing in recent weeks.

Dhs100; free for ladies before midnight. 9pm-3am, Thursday April 19. N’Dulge, Atlantis The Palm, Palm Jumeirah (056 603 7961).
