Just weeks after Tiger Translate made waves by hosting a party in Media One’s car park, a new promoter swans in to launch this scarily similar Younique concept – although this time there’s a Dhs100 door charge. Like its predecessor, the night stars a top international DJ – this time DJ Yoda – and a beatboxer, this time Faith SFX. It’s also the first live appearance from the UAE’s electro-pop duo Hollaphonic (they did a DJ set at the Dubai World Cup), so high time to see if they have more material to match catchy radio debut ‘I Don’t Want it to End’.
