The excitement around the Yasalam after-race concerts in Abu Dhabi reaches fever pitch with the announcement of yet another sensational line up of global superstars. On Friday November 21, globally celebrated DJ and producer Armin Van Buuren will perform. The Dutch sensation ranked number one DJ for five years, will energise the audience with his extensive back catalogue of hits including the recent chart-topper, This Is What It Feels Like. On Saturday November 22, the music industry’s current hottest property, Pharrell Williams, will light up the du Arena with his world famous stage persona and raw talent. The singer songwriter, producer and chart-storming collaborator has cemented his status in music history with his most recent hit tracks, the seminal Happy, Marilyn Monroe and Come Get it Bae.
Bringing the Yasalam Festival to a celebrated and powerful close will be one of rock’s legendary and defining bands of all time – The Who. The Who’s debut in the region will see them take the audience through their entire career from classic albums such as Who’s Next, Tommy, Quadrophenia, My Generation, Live at Leeds up to the present day.
Popular haunt, Societe Dubai are set to open a new club in the coming months. The rumoured venue is thought to be located at the Capitol Hotel in Jumeirah, and will be open seven days a week. Dubbed Societe Jumeirah, it looks set to open in early December, just in time for a Rugby Sevens after-party.
A stream of international artists are rumoured to be coming to Cavalli Club throughout November, including Sean Paul, Erick Morillo, AfroJack and Steve Angello.
