Time Out Dubai staff
You’re playing at Zero Gravity in Dubai on New Year’s Eve. What can we expect from your set? A celebration of some of the great tunes of the year. And hopefully I can conduct a great vibe. I played NYE in Dubai two years ago and the energy was the best I had ever seen there.
What’s likely to be the first track you play in 2016? I haven’t picked it yet, but it will look to the future in anticipation of the year ahead.
Any resolutions? To make some great music, ride my bike somewhere I haven’t been before and manage my time better. I’m a keen cyclist and recently took part in a 532 mile charity ride from Los Angeles to San Francisco for the Pablove Foundation, it was an amazing experience.
What new projects are you’re working on? The soundtrack and score for a cool new Netflix movie called XOXO.
Do you think Dubai could be a destination for clubbers, following the likes of Ibiza? Dubai licensing will always be a challenge, but if the right environment can be created, I don’t see why not.
