WHITE Dubai back for season opener on September 23
Club of the Year is back, transforming three times a week for all-new nights
If you thought this weekend was going to be a quiet one, think again. Time Out Dubai’s Club of the Year, WHITE Dubai, is back in business this weekend, marking a return to the great outdoors for some alfresco clubbing.
Head to the Grandstand at The Meydan Hotel, where this high-tech rooftop club kicks off the season on Saturday September 23, and will run three nights a week from Thursday to Sunday between 10pm and 3am.
The project for season four is ambitious, and there is reason to get excited. Along with a variety of drastic changes to the venue’s interior (more on that to come), the club will be undertaking a massive production every night – a 12-hour transformation between three different club nights, effectively three different setups.
“Hard work, perseverance, keeping up with trends and staying on top of them is a full time job,” said Elie Saba, Addmind Group’s UAE nightlife manager. “As the world embraces a new wave of music trends, WHITE continues to be the scene’s pacemaker. Our brand has matured over the years, and we’re here to prove that only the well-founded can recreate themselves without losing substance.”
WHITE claims it is one of a small handful of clubs in the world that is able to undergo nightly makeovers, and it is making some big promises ahead of the new season. Opening night will see the return of URBN (our Best Urban Night of 2017), featuring a full line-up of the region’s top DJs, including Best Dubai DJ Dany Neville, plus Moky Ezra, Devon Kosoko and Disturbing London’s DJ Charlesy.
Two new theme nights are also on the way as part of the club’s regular line-up. BIZAAAR will be an eclectic mix of international, timeless sounds, while WHITEHOUSE is the club’s weekly house night, with resident and international acts set to be announced.
We can’t wait to find out what’s happening behind WHITE’s doors as our Club of the Year returns for the post-summer season this weekend.
