Legendary British-Iranian comedian returning for one-off gig on November 11
One of Britain’s best-loved comedian is returning to Dubai for a one-off gig this November.
On top of his massive 110-date tour of his latest tour, stand-up comedian Omid Djalili is coming back to Dubai on Saturday November 11 at the Music Hall at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm.
The one-night-only concert will see two shows, one at 6pm and one again at 9pm, put on by Standup DXB. Never one to shy away from addressing the tough topics, Djalili’s latest show tackles many political subjects head on directly with comedic and satirical aplomb, and was acclaimed by UK publication London Evening Standard: “In troubled times, you can always rely on Omid Djalili for a bit of belly-dancing-based levity.”
He’s personable, charming and charismatic, and Dubai forms one of the latter parts of his world tour, which closes early in 2018 in London.
Following on from four nights and five gigs in New York, Djalili has one night in Dubai on November 11, before jetting-setting off to Maidstone for the start of another stint of gigs across UK towns and cities. A six-night stay at London’s legendary Leicester Square Theatre arrives at the crescendo of his tour.
