One more date added following sell-out night at Madinat Theatre in November
Following a completely sold out visit to Dubai on Thursday 9 November, UK comedian Russell Kane has extended his stay to a second night.
The Essex comedian is in town as part of the DXBLaughs comedy series, and is playing at the Madinat Theatre on Thursday November 9. Having completely sold out his first night, it has been confirmed that Kane is spending a second night at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah theatre, with tickets for Friday November 10 now available.
The award-winning comedian and star of BBC show Stupid Man, Smart Phone, is in the midst of his ongoing tour – Right Man, Wrong Age – which he has been touring for the last 18 months.
“This Dubai show has taken me all by surprise a bit,” Kane told Time Out Dubai back in June. “We kind of floated it as an idea and then it’s all happened really quickly. I’m not sure what show is best to tour there yet, I have two possible options. But from what I know about doing gigs for lots of British people that aren’t living in the UK, is that they love to hear stuff about their country.”
“We are very pleased to announce this second show with Russell at the intimate Madinat Theatre,” said Girish Bhat, managing director at Done Events. “We can’t wait for him to bring his show to the Middle East for the first time.”
Whatever content Kane brings to Dubai, it’s going to be a great night. He’s a personable, twitchy, lively and genuinely funny comedian who knows how to work a stage and a room.
Tickets start from Dhs195, and are available from www.800tickets.com – but tickets for Thursday November 9 are completely sold out.
