Eight gigs in eight days coming to town in January 2018
While there’s still time to see in the New Year with some proper laughs with Jason Manford’s visit to The Laughter Factory on Sunday December 31, the first comedy line-up of 2018 has been announced.
New York funny woman Carmen Lynch will be leading a top billing for one of The Laughter Factory’s most ambitious tours yet.
Taking place across the UAE, and kicking off on Thursday January 11, Lynch will be spearheading nine gigs in eight days, with all but one of the shows taking place in Dubai. Having starred on a string of late-night shows in the US, Lynch is no stranger to entertaining millions of viewers, with performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and twice on The Late Show with David Letterman under her belt.
Joining Lynch on the tour is Mark Nelson, who won the inaugural Scottish Comedian of the Year Award in 2006, has been selling out shows across the country’s leading comedy festivals for the past ten years. He says some things he probably shouldn’t, and you’ll laugh at some things you probably shouldn’t.
Completing the line-up is Luke Toulson, who has appeared on the BBC’s Russell Howard’s Good News, and written for comedians on Mock The Week, so an excellent choice of comedians are taking their place on the stage for more than a week of brilliant stand-up. Tickets are available now for Dhs140 from www.thelaughterfactory.com.
