IRIS Dubai has a new line-up of events and themed nights, which will see partygoers getting stuck into the new menu and having a boogie to DJs and live musicians.
As well as two new bars, a renovated terrace, a new DJ booth, lounge area and greenery wall, there’s also a swing set at the entrance.
The week at Iris kicks off with ‘Not Another Disco’ every Sunday, which sees British DJ Maxine Hardcastle spin a unique set combining classic disco with funk, soul and house, among disco balls and glitter stations, with the promise of some special surprises.
Tuesday Night Live is a night of non-stop entertainment where the city’s best musicians and entertainers tread the boards over two new stages from 10pm. The line-up will change every week, with regular performers including Stephon Lamar and Laura Ingham, and the odd surprise headliner performance thrown in along the way.
Wednesdays are dedicated to grape at IRIS, with 15 percent off the first bottle, 25 percent off the second, and 35 percent off any following bottles.
Friday, of course, is brunch day, and the IRIS Dubai Brunch has been revamped for winter with new selection of delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes along with live cooking stations including a barbecue, a sushi bar and a new poke bar, featuring fresh tuna, salmon and crab along with an assortment of veggies and salad, which will also feature on the updated restaurant menu.
The brunch runs from 1pm-5pm, and costs Dhs140 for soft drinks. Other packages start from Dhs290 for house grape and draft hops, Dhs420 for mixed drinks and Dhs520 for bubbles. Open Sat-Thu 5pm-3am. Fri 1pm-3am. The Oberoi Dubai, Business Bay (056 951 1442).
