Tagine welcomes diners through a series of intimately lit corridors flickering with candlelight and peppered with the sound of trickling water fountains. The romance continues inside with low set tables covered in pretty embroidered tablecloths and set with tapered candles and red roses. Colourful Arabic lanterns hang overhead and a huge display of fresh flowers takes centre stage in the middle of the room. The open kitchen adds a twist of interest as diners can watch the chefs at work, while the traditional live Moroccan music adds to the atmosphere without being overbearing. When it comes to the food, you’ll find all the typical Moroccan dishes you might expect and each is served with a side of sophistication, the tagine pots being housed in ornate silver dishes and the salads in delicate Moorish crockery. With its elegant setting, Tagine is a great place for a romantic night with your other half.
