If the motto for Belgium’s most famous draught beverage is ‘reassuringly expensive’, the Belgian Beer Café is just as reassuringly busy. In fact, don’t turn up without booking a table first, or you could be waiting a long time. Busy, slightly harassed staff fly about, trying their best to fight fires – no time for politeness. Bar-style food takes a while to arrive, but is piping hot, well-prepared and tasty when it finally does.

Good restaurant, wonderfull typical Belgian kitchen with delicious pairing beers!

We had been there several times in the past and ordered the fried mussels, it was our 1st wedding anniversay so we wanted some more of those fried mussels, upon arriving we were told the non smoking section upstairs was closed so we had to sit in the smoking section which reeked of smoke odor. apparently the fried mussels are no longer served there so that was a big dissappointment as that was the only reason we went there. the tea was terrible we finally ended up having starter courses as are main menu choice since the fried mussels were not available. the waitress and service was superb however the cost of what we ordered was on the high side, needless to say we will not be visiting that establishment any longer.

This place was almost full when I came here last night with a waiting time for getting a table outdoors. Great buzz and feel to the place. Great views of the business bay bridge and the serene waters from the verandah.
Hoegarden beer came served in a huge glass. The sweet taste at the corner of my mouth left me wondering if it was the beer or the mouthwash. Fried shrimps for starters which had about 10-12 pieces of good medium sized shrimps served with tartar sauce. Apart from the fact that it was batter fried it was rather good and filling. A pot of mussel in white wine and garlic was served thick cut fries and mayonnaise. It is a lot of mussels to eat at one go so I suggest it be shared and an extra dish ordered if needed. Also I felt that at Dhs 160 it was steep.
Overall a fine experience and with a great atmosphere with lots of waiters moving around busily but ask for something and it they'll promptly get it.

This is the best Brunch served in Dubai. The best mussels. How can i miss this, the BEST BEER IN THE COUNTRY!! So many varieties. Trust me, the choices in beer and food will astonish you. Do not go for the regular beers. Try the belgian ones.

By far the best brunch in town in terms of Food vs Price.
They have a fabulous Cheese bar, quite delicious selections, included in their brunch which already includes most items form their menu as well!!
The best Waffles also that's for sure!
They even let you order additional drinks during a brunch before you even finish the drink you have in front of you! Awesome!
I recommend this brunch quite strongly, i've done several times myself, & i will always go back!
Even on a regular day, Mussel Pots & Cherry Beer?? Yummy!!
