The size and stark simplicity of this branch of Aryaas doesn’t make it the cosiest of restaurants, and it’s certainly devoid of the intimate charm of the other venues around town, but this is more than compensated for by warm service and delicious food. Try the rava idli and kal dosa to start, followed by appam, chettinadu paniyara and the special masala. Each dish is light and delicate in its own right, but together they prove a formidable feast. And while the latest branch of Aryaas may not be the most inviting, its extended menu and persistently excellent South Indian offerings make it worth wandering away from the nearby fast food franchises of BurJuman.
