This is my first steakhouse experience in Dubai. I loved that place, it's simply an outstanding restaurant!

In addition to my earlier comment, I must say that the redone interiors has taken away some of the sophistication of the earlier setting. The sofa seats which is along the wall is a little low for the table height. Service was perfect. Apart from the business of taking orders or bringing each course of food, which is generally enough interaction as such, the staff don't bother you unless glanced at. Very professional.

Came with wife for a 3 course set-menu dinner offered as part of the ongoing Jumeirah restaurant week which at Dhs 180 is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to experience fine dining.
Bread with chimichurri and butter was served. Ordered for Guinness, virgin colada and sparkling water. Rabbit meat salad offered once ordering was done. The amouse bouche is expected to tantalise, surprise and impress. This one left us wondering why.
For the starters, I had the veal carpaccio while my wife went for the goat cheese and tomato millefeuille, the latter was definitely the bettter dish. Beef short ribs and risotto with asparagus, cheese and quail eggs was had for the main course. A chunk of beef rib which was surprisingly tender and juicy was served with a small side of mashed potato was marvellous. The risotto as also thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with warm chocolate fondant which was fantastic and creme brulee which was very good too. Two packed muffins were given to take away for breakfast.
The total including tip came to Dhs 500.

What else to say that this fabulous restaurant and fully deserves its title of best steakhouse in Dubai.

The restaurant is on the first floor of the 5-star Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The setting is beautiful and perfect for a romantic dinner (seat leather, soft lighting, background music) The capacity is 80 people. Arrived early (19h) by reason of my non-reservation. Fortunately, a few tables free.

The map shows a huge variety of flat and also the advantage of offering plenty of options to choose as accompaniments for exple main dishes. As a starter, soup, foie gras, or shrimp salads are offered.

Then in the main courses, all types of meat from all sources (Australia, United States, Canada, Wagyu Beef, etc ...) are also available. All these meats are offered in different sizes. Ribs, chicken, shrimp, salmon are also a la carte. The choice of sauces with meats and fish is impressive (over 10!). Also in accompaniment (it will puree to the nose, "Wasabi Tempura Fries", croquettes, etc..) Also in vegetables, plethora of choices.

With my fresh juice, it brings me a plate of marbled two kinds of bread with one hand salted butter and a Chimichurri sauce. The bread was fresh and cut his own.

Then, as an appetizer, a creamy potato with shredded chicken. Excellent, very good mix. Then I opted for the "US BLACK ANGUS BEEF TEDERLOIN 200gr" with sauce "Pommery mustard" and also homemade butter (no problem getting 2 no extra sauces) accompanied by a "Backed patatoes sour cream and sweet" . Fast and sauces in addition, they bring an assortment of 5 tabasco to accompany the dish. Beautiful presentation, sauces and side dishes are served separately. Left is to attack then. One word: delicious. Cooked meat as tender point and asked to get up at night. Only drawback, the sauce "Pommery mustard" was a bit too runny for my taste.

Then, despite a tempting dessert menu, a cup of coffee was enough for me. Mini chocolate cake comes together for coffee.

Finally with the addition, a nice touch is available to the client, a muffin packed in a gift package name of the restaurant. Very nice. In the end, beautiful moment. Address record and share!

THE BEST steak i had in dubai and big varaity of steaks are there , service is very good decor is very nice.

i ve been in many fancy restaurants world wide this one is a class A . my freind you were in a bad mode maybe that night !!

I strongly believe that this Timeout review is misguided. A good steak, well bred, butchered and sourced is the WOW factor all on it's own. Rib Room is great at simplicity. Uncomplicated food pays respect to the fact that the best produce is really it's own best asset and that such are best enjoyed with minimal manipulation to bring out their essence. It is also much harder to cook food that is simple to perfection than to mask them with a lot of other disguises.

If you are dining at the Rib Room, you are advised to order the wagyu. It is worth EVERY fil. Whenever I want to have a gastronomic moment that transfixes me and leaves me happy and inspired, Rib Room is the place. What I love about the restaurant is that it manages somehow to strike an ambience that is as suitable for a business lunch/ dinner to impress business partners/colleagues as it is for a romantic interlude that makes you all warm and funny inside.

I have had dinner and business lunches at the Rib Room at least 5 times from September 2009-August 2010. Absolutely NO regrets. The best part? Everyone I have taken there has also left singing its praises!

Best steak anywhere! Black Angus T-Bone steak, med. well, is like a dream.

Having arrived at just after 11PM last night, I had the restaurant all to myself.
An amouse bouche of cauliflower soup was brought in as a complement from the chef. The squid ink bread was too hard and dry to qualify as a bread, you had to crack the bread by hand.

Ordered for scallops for starters and a 300gm black angus rib eye steak. The scallops were very nice but not cheap at Dhs.85 considering the amount. The steak was ordered medium rare and came with truffle mash. The truffle mash was very good and had a smooth texture with the truffle shavings doing a wonderful job of imparting it with it's flavour which was not the case with the truffle butter. The steak, although good as such, lacked the wow factor. Cabernet sauvignon is a winner in it's own right.

The place is well decked up with a special feel to it as befits it's location in the iconic Emirates Towers. The service was faultless.

The cost for 1 person for starter, steak, a glass of wine and a bottle of still water came to a shade under Dhs. 400.

rib room did not sell wagyu tenderlion steaks in March 2009. They just put it on the menu in December 2009.
