Set against Wafi Pyramids, this bustling, atmospheric spot has enjoyed well-deserved popularity throughout the years. The unique ‘indoor-outdoor’ (the venue has a retractable roof) setting is embellished with lanterns, a water-wheel and Arabic musicians filling the air with soothing Arabian melodies. The staff are prompt and alert, handling the constant flow of customers with aplomb. The vast menu seems features dishes from Morocco, Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt, but it’s advisable to stick to the Lebanese offerings – the grills being the pick of the bunch. The dessert listings are short and sweet – which makes for easy ordering (though it’s advisable to ask a member of staff for assistance – and provide a satisfying conclusion to what is a wonderful dining experience. A great place for visitors and residents alike. Highly recommended.

I have been to Khan Murjan many times with my family but unfortunately the new rules about smoking in public places mean that I can no longer bring my children here so I do not visit any more. I would hope that the fact that the restaurant area is outdoors might mean that they could make an exception in this instance. The family seating area is horrible, stuck away in a side corridor.

The food is very good although quite expensive, the service is always reasonably quick and friendly. It's really the ambience that makes the place.

This is absolutely one of the very best places in Dubai. The wide variety of food is great and the live music is amazing. The prices are expensive, but you will leave the place satisfied.

I've been to this restaurant several times and each time I've been they haven't had what I ordered. When asked if there are other items on the menu they don't have, the waitress tells you to go to the kitchen to find out! Service isn't great, the atmosphere is nice, food is WAY overpriced and really isn't that special. Disappointing, won't go back again.

To be honest, the food is over priced. Other than that my wife has found the place to be romantic. We both loved the setting surrounding us. The service was alright, nothing remarkable.

As to the food, the restaurant has a vast variety of Arabic cuisines with a very good portion. Desserts also are very nice.

I would recommend it for any couple looking out for a romantic restaurant.

was having my date, wanted to introduce her to Arabic cuisine
ended up ordering a lot of menu items.

diverse Arabic cuisines (Egyptian, Moroccan, Emirati ...etc)
a vast menu selection
very tasty
very good service
but it is over priced

the best restaurant in dubai, where you can find different choise of cuisine(moroccan,libanais,iranien)the portions of the food not big quantity but very good quality, made in the traditional way as we cook at home.

This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to in Dubai! The food was not up to the expectations, and the it is very expensive indeed!! I would never recommend it to anyone, and I am shocked that Time Out Dubai is promoting it! Thank you for publishing my review!

it's the only place remind me by mom and grandma coocking
all food are made in the origenal traditional way as will the service and the ambiance are outstanding . it's a bit expensive but for the quality of food they are serving it deserve , simply it's a wonderfull experiance

The food was too expensive. We paid almost 300 dirham for 2 meals and 1 coffee and 1 coke. Nothing special. The food tasted like the cheap restaurant. Very much noise and much smoke. I prefer the food in front of Burj Khalifa in Dubai Mall.
