Lemongrass Express is a completely different concept to the Oud Metha restaurant. It's fast food and food-court special, but yes, the food there extremely varies from the original. I always go to the Oud Metha branch.

i went dinner with my wife to the lamcy branch, ordered the veg tom yam soup , it was horrible very tangy with big pieces of mushroom, it felt like they just removed the meat from the soup and served it, i ordered the golden fried prawns which the server recommended which was ok and the vegetarian fried rice was also average, all in all very dissapointing experience and i will never return to this restaurant

I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and the food was good. Some verities like beef salad etc where better that what i had in Thailand. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a decent thai food.

I am not pretty sure that Lemon grass express in Mirdiff city centre is a part of Lemon grass next to Lamcy or not...

I always enjoyed food in Lemon grass but this express is disaster...

Food is awful, the order taker is so rude ....Very dissappointing experience...

I just came back from Thailand and the food is not even close to what I had back there in terms of taste and flavore.
We had a soup and 2 kind of curry and a fried rice all with prawns and what surprised me was that all the dishes had the same prawns ( boiled prawns ) and after that it was added to the dish and all of us know that this is a verry commercial way that most cafeterias and canteens use's.
I was shocked one of the worst Thai restaurant I have ever ate in.

We went to this restaurant few weeks back, once we entered the restaurant we tell the front desk guy we need a table for 4 people, No smile and without any word, he turned around and pointing to a table at the corner. That's rude.

The food is normal and not what we were expected.

After we finished the meal and settled the cheque, the same guy came to us and said "can you leave, there are many customers waiting" in a very rude manner. We were so embarrassed and felt insulted infront of all the customers.

We promised not to return to this restaurant again to avoid insulted for the second time.

I had a very bad experience last night, I have been planning for so long to visit lemongrass next to lamcy but I couldn’t since it is far from where I stay (Emirates hills), finally yesterday I had a guest from Germany and I had to drop her at the Airport and thought it would be a good idea to stop for dinner (It was a big mistake). When we arrived around 10:00 PM we approach the guy at the front desk asking for available table, with very rude look he told us:” sit on the sofa over there and will see”, I asked him politely” but there is an empty table over there”, he looked at me with very angry look and replied angrily “ I told you to sit over there and will find a place for you!!!” I didn’t want to argue with him since this is the last night for my friend and I just wanted it to pass peacefully. So my advice to all AVOID IT, they should teach their staff the basics of customer service and then they should call it a restaurant.

The guy who answered the phone was very rude on friday 10 feb at 22:30hrs so decided to not go.

Food was excellent and you'll feel you are not in Oud Metha when you are inside the resto. Our server was very accommodating. However, MY CREDIT CARD got DOUBLE CHARGED. (Not to mention, a month ago,my friend's card had been charged TWICE too-in the same/exact Branch!!!!)
Has this happened to anyone who dined in the same branch???!!! That part is very DISAPPOINTING and FRUSTRATING.

IIm sorry to say that recently my uncle and aunt came from India for a visit and we took them foe a treat to lemon grass but we found that the food was quite dissapointing.Previously we had rated it as one of the best Thai joints in Dubai but this time we were really disappointed.What happened has the management changed or have they changed the cooks

Love it! A born and bred south-east Asian will flatter every of their sauces and cooking styles that bring memories of home cooked dishes. Non-watered down tomyam soup impressed me the most. Definitely not alike to most American-Thai fusion restaurants around... Keep up the genuine flavours!

The taste and quality of food is really really bad. Don't waste your time and money. The spices in the soup are not right, the sea food quality is bad and nothing even close to Thai food. This place used to be good but not anymore.
The only good thing about it was the service and friendly staff.

Family dinner last night. It was full and we managed to get in on Friday night without reservation. Had tried a few times last year but was closed for renovation then. I am happy to have come here, such was the food and service.
Ordered for 3 mani dishes- Pad Kao which was fried rice with mixed seafood, Penang curry with chicken and Pad Pong Garee, a crab dish in thick gravy. The first was an average fair, the Penang curry was better but the best was the crab dish and its wonderfully thick and delightfully tasty gravy. All this was had with 2 servings of sticky rice. From the dessert section Ruam Mit was ordered which was with coconut and fruits and was iced.
Service was prompt and the waiters walked about with a smile on their face.
A gentle pressure from the hand on the table is enough to slide it along the floor which is not what you want when you have 3 small tables put together. Adequately sized portions and reasonably priced items quality of food are reasons enough to make me want to come back.
The total bill including a bottle of water was Dhs. 169.

the seafood i had today was very hard i was disappionted.

One of the better thai places in Dubai. Value for money. Ensure you book a table - packed on weekends.

The best Thai food in Dubai

Excellent Thai food at a good value. The Tom Kha Soup was perfectly sweet and spicy. Green curry was delicious!

Lovely decor, good food, but overated.
Prawn/ fish not a fluffy and soft as the should be, mains can get fiery even if you ask for mild.

I'd made a visit to Lemongrass only to try out the much raved about Tom Yam soup, but the menu just didn't let me ignore it. And that, I did not regret. The soup was exceptional and easily the best of its kind in Dubai. The vegetarian starter platter was pretty neat, with exactly measured portions for two people. The Char Kway Teow was just the way we requested for it, but what really stood out was our dessert, Fried Banana with Vanilla ice-cream, which was nothing short of delightfully fattening. Washing down with Jasmine Tea never felt better. However, the service was quite a let down for such outstanding food. Contrasting to the abovementioned reviewer, the waitresses kept forgetting about our existence and we had a hard time catching their attention to get them to take our order or to call for the cheque. This was when the place wasn't even that full. We went at an odd hour and there were about four other occupied tables. But one thing that really got my attention was, hilarious really, they kept taking away our plates for some odd reason. And they just wuldn't let us finish our course! I kid you not. I understand the tables are to be cleared for the next course, but only after we're done with the previous one! It was strangely funny here, they kept clearing our plates without second notice! It was as if they were running short of plates for the other diners.. I was expecting a one-of-a-kind experience at Lemongrass, but really not in this context!

To conclude, the food deserves the accolades, but expected the unexpected from the service, not necessarily in the good way!

Nice decor and good service but they def cannot make - Gang keow wan gai and no one even speaks Thai (thats Green curry) it was nothing like the real thing !
