Junsui, Burj Al Arab
Nominated for Best South-East Asian 4 Comments
Let’s get this straight: Junsai isn’t cheap but it’s probably the most affordable way of eating at the Burj Al Arab. The white and diamond-inspired buffet restaurant is actually fairly restrained compared to the hotel’s lobby areas and a low ceiling and marbled floor make for a smart, enticing restaurant. The restaurant offers sushi, sashimi, seafood, dim sum, wok dishes and more, with the obligatory mini dessert selection and chocolate fountain to finish. There are also a number of live cooking stations: teppanyaki, Peking duck, noodle dishes and satay can all be conjured up before your eyes. Service can be over attentive at times but is only a small niggle in the face of an otherwise outstanding meal.
