Best for: Arabian Nights by the sea.
The view: In the evening, this Arabic restaurant boasts views of The Ritz-Carlton Dubai’s private beach – and the runway used by the Skydive Dubai plane.
The food: The daily buffet includes 16 starter and mezze options (our favourites: cold harra fish, fava bean bil zeit, and shanklish cheese), as well as shawarmas, manakish and desserts including baklava.
Also look out for: Private cabanas, which are available on request, as are board games, shisha and the melodic sound of the oud and tabla. It should be noted that there’s a minimum spend of Dhs120 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
