15 beachside restaurants
1 Comments 28 February 2012 Bu Qtair
Best for: Rustic beachside dining.
The view: A Portakabin and a few shabby chairs might not look much, but this is one of the most unique seaside dining experiences you’ll find here in Dubai.
The food: Expect gloriously simple
fried-fish curry and boiled cassava root dishes that you can shovel into your mouth with your right hand (this is no-nonsense beachside dining).
Also look out for: Western expats are sometimes subject to ‘selective’ pricing, but Bu Qtair is still likely to be one of the cheapest meals you’ll have in Dubai.
Average price of a meal for two with soft drinks: under Dhs100. Open daily 7pm-midnight. 11a Street, off Beach Road: turn right towards the beach after the E-Library and McDonald’s, near Burj Al Arab (no number).
