All their outlets offer a large dining area bedecked in wood with a central canteen-style communal table. The ambience is relaxed, with a steady hum of multi-lingual conversation. Service is prompt, if at times harried (especially in the JBR Walk branch on a busy Friday morning). The food is fantastic: if you enjoy salads and open sandwiches, this is your best bet in the city. We especially recommend the shrimp, mango, sundried tomato, melon, avocado and pesto salad – quite possibly the best salad we have ever tasted – or the warm goat’s cheese with honey and thyme tartine, a naughty weekend treat. PQ certainly offers a classy shopping or lunchtime pit-stop.
