Launched in late 2012, the fine dining Italian venue offers a more sophisticated and serene brunch option than most, with an à la carte menu of classic Italian sharing platters brought straight to your table. Teamed with a selection of classic Italian mixed drinks, the brunch begins with a collection of several equally classic Italian starters. Beef carpaccio is simple, uncomplicated and exemplary thanks to the melty, buttery beef, while the bresaola and buffalo mozzarella salad are also good. The pasta course offers more variations, with dishes including one of the restaurants signatures: thick, chewy tubes of paccheri, served with elegant, perfectly cooked seafood. Diners are then offered mixed grills of seafood or meat, which are plentiful but not gluttonous (refreshing at a brunch), before finishing with uncomplicated and well prepared Italian desserts such as panna cotta with raspberry and tiramisu. Not the average Dubai brunch, but a great spot for a long, lazy and lovely weekend lunch.
