Low lighting combined with the restaurant’s dark brown and purple decor gives Roberto’s a formal feel ideal for talking enterprise. But accents of yellow keep the atmosphere from feeling austere, despite the fact that most who dine here during the busy lunchtime spell look like they’re here to either seal the deal, to celebrate a sealed deal or take a well-deserved break from negotiations. The menu is comprehensive and portions filling, with four starters and seven mains to choose from, as well as a surprise desert at the end. We particularly liked the burratina cheese starter and slow braised beef cheek with truffled mashed potatoes and green capsicum, both with delicate and subtle flavours. With such a flurry of guests at lunchtime, staff frenetically pace about the restaurant serving guests, but because of this, you may need to catch their eyes between courses as not to be overlooked, especially if you need proceedings to be speedy.
Dhs140. Open daily noon-3pm (lunch), 8pm-midnight (dinner). Gate Village Building 1, DIFC, www.robertos.ae (04 386 0066).

My husband and I visited Roberto's for drinks and were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, drinks were great and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We spent the evening at the bar and had a couple of cocktails each as well as a bite to eat. There is a smoking and non-smoking area. However, they are not clearly defined. The cocktails were delicious and very well presented, the selection of bar food was limited. We highly recommend the Pavarotti signature cocktail if you have a sweet tooth and Basil Rosca if you are a fan of gin. The prices are definitely on the higher side but we didn't feel that it was overpriced for the quality of the drinks. The only comment is for staff to remember to offer valet parking ticket validation. Sadly resulting in us having to return to the restaurant to get our ticket stamped. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely come back.

I was visiting my friend in Dubai for the weekend and we booked a table at Roberto's as he had heard good things. The service from start to finish was superb. We were able to book a table quickly and easily and we received a courtesy call on the day of our meal. When we were at the restaurant the staff were really professional and we felt well looked after throughout. The staff were efficient and friendly and the visit was well paced. My friend ordered the lamb and this was really well cooked and nice and tender. I had the seafood risotto and that was delicious. We both had desserts which were really good quality and well presented. The atmosphere was great in the restaurant and there was a separate smoking area. The restaurant was really well looked after and very clean. We really enjoyed the meal and we recommend that others go.

My husband and I visited Roberto's during the week for lunch and ate from the Business Lunch menu; this was excellent value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, which is particularly important for lunch time visits when many people are restricted on time. All the lunch time menus offer a wide variety of options from salads to steaks, pasta to pizza. Apart from the wagyu beef dish, which was a little too salty, the starters, mains and desserts were all delicious, using excellent quality food with particular attention to flavour - the sorbet was the best flavoured sorbet we have ever experienced. The ambience of the restaurant was relaxed but elegant and the staff were very professional and smartly presented. The large floor to ceiling windows offer great lighting and excellent views of the Burj Khalifa. We had a very enjoyable experience at Roberto's and would certainly recommend it. The prices are at the mid to high end, but in line with the area and attracting business people for lunch and after work gatherings. Overall Roberto's exceeded expectations with exceptionally well flavoured food, a beautiful setting and attentive, friendly professional staff who work hard to give you a great experience.

We visited for lunch on the weekend and the service was simply excellent. We were greeted immediately and our waiter Tulsi was very attentive, friendly and polite. At no point were we left wanting for anything. He recommended various starters, one of which we selected (the Melanzane) and which was indeed delicious. Our waiter recommended this could be shared between two of us and he was correct. We had the Carbonara and the Risotto with Scallops and Asparagus as main courses. These were delicious and rich in flavour. The presentation was neat and appetising. We selected apple tart for dessert on which our waiter complimented our decision confirming that it was a good choice. He was not wrong as this was immaculately presented and tasted even better. The manager visited our table to check that we were happy which was a nice touch. Another member of staff also checked on our table after we had ordered the starters to make sure that we had been taken care of. The service today was faultless. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is smart with a lovely decor and pleasant ambience. The prices are on the higher end but the food is of excellent quality.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I had made reservations prior to arrival. I was greeted very well as soon as I entered the restaurant and the host was very friendly. My reservations were checked and I was brought to a table briskly. I was seated at a good table with a brilliant view of the Burj Khalifa. The waiter approached me soon and gave us the menu. He was good in making recommendations as well. There was a good range of variety available on the menu too. We placed our orders and were then given drinks menu. The only draft beer available was Peroni. The beer was very fresh and good. The food was simply superb. All the food was well seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. I had calamari for starters and it was very fresh. As for mains, I had the Bosco Risotto which was very good. It was garnished by slices of truffle as well. I also tried the Tortelli. This was really delicious too. The pasta was fresh and the filling was brilliant. The goat cheese went very well with this dish. Overall, the service was very good and engaging. The view from the lounge was stunning. The food and the amazing atmosphere capped off a brilliant lunch at the heart of Dubai City.

Our visit at Roberto´s was very pleasant. We were greeted immmediately and brought to the bar area where we were welcomed by our waiter who gave us the menu and recommended us very good cocktails. We were brought nuts and vegetables to eat them with our cocktails. We were served very fast and whenever we had an empty glass someone came to ask if we wanted something more. We were also asked if we liked the drinks and te food. They do have a quiet good variety of drinks. I am sure everyody can find something. Also the snacks they offer are very good and when we ordered the food we got it within 10 minutes which is really fast. The atmosphere is also very good. everything is clean and modern. There is a live DJ and the music fits very well to the bar. The whole staff is neatly dressed and very attentive. When you leave they are also very friendly and thank you for your stay and wish you a nice evening. I can totally recommend Roberto´s for a nice stay.

Dinner in Robertos was lovely. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, very modernly decorated with several different areas to sit in and a lovely view of Burj Khalifa. The food was vey tasty, we had the Bolognese Wagyu and Risotto for mains. The Bolognese was delicious and very rich, the risotto not as much but still decent. The highlight was the Burrata. Creamy mozzarella cheese with cream and tomatoes, so simple yet amazing! The chocolate Fondant was also delicious, it was not over sweet and had the perfect balance. The service was good, and we did not wait long for the food. The staff were all friendly and smiled at us whenever eye contact was made. The only thing I would say is maybe staff should pay a little bit more attention to the tables and check up on customers throughout the meal. Overall very nice place to visit and will definitely go again.

I visited Roberto's for lunch with a friend. We were greeted by friendly smiley staff who opened the door for us as we entered. After our reservation was checked, we were escorted to our table and handed over to our server Julie who was equally friendly and warm. As well as the a la carte menu, a business lunch option was available with 3 courses for about 120 AED. We chose from the a la carte menu which had great classic Italian selections available divided across sub categories e.g. Antipasti, Pasta, Risotto, Fish, meat etc. Whilst we waited for our starter, we were brought a complimentary basket of breads along with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a tapenade of black olive and sun dried tomato to enjoy. To begin the meal we had the classic Buratta caprese salad which was simple and delicious. For the main course, I chose the Cacio e Pepe which was simple, creamy and had a great flavour from the pecorino cheese and pepper. My friend had the mushroom risotto which was suggested by the server. He thoroughly enjoyed its rich mushroom aroma and taste. The portion sizes were great and left us perfectly satiated!! Although we didn't decide to have wine with our meals, the in house Sommelier gave recommendations and a small taste for my meal. For Italian dining, Roberto's is one of the best I've been to anywhere. Great classic menu choices, food quality, service, ambiance and overall experience.

Roberto's is a great independent restaurant that lives up to its reputation, when visiting during the height of Summer it is nice to see it is still busy even though not full whilst most of Dubai is on vacation. The food quality is good although nothing out of this world. The staff are both efficient and friendly which is hard to find in Dubai as you usually get one or the other and sometimes neither. Not great value for money, but being in DIFC there is little VFM around. I spent over AED 1000 for a table for two, 3 courses and two glasses of (cheap) wine each – welcome to Dubai. What makes this place special is the atmosphere and the service, to think that you can eat 3 leisurely courses not being in a rush and be in and out within an hour and a half is good.

When we first arrived, I was really impressed by the venue, as the decor and style were very nice. We were greeted straight away and taken to our table in the lounge. We were then offered drinks, and given our menus. A selection of breads were served along with our drinks, whilst we were waiting for our starters. We decided to share a starter of cold meats. The presentation of this dish was great. The meats were served on top of a crispy flatbread, with some olives, pickles, tomatoes and picked onions on the side. This was really good. Our main courses arrived and we were really looking forward to eating them as they looked at smelled great. We didn't think the portion sizes were that big until we started eating. We couldn't finish them all, but they were really good. We were offered desserts and coffee but we declined this as we were both stuffed from our starter and main course. The service from start to finish was great, and of a very high standard. Overall, I would say that we really enjoyed our visit. I am sure we will be back, although maybe for dinner instead of lunch when I feel this may represent better value for money.

Visited the bar at Roberto's for the first time. After hearing so much about this place we were excited to give it a whirl. The cool and relaxing after-work vibe got us in the mood but we were surprisingly disappointed by a Negroni that arrived so packed to the brim with ice cubes one could barely get the liquid down. This was followed by the AED 80 glasses of Italian red that on first pass were actually corked and had to be re-poured. Kudos to the hard-working service at the bar but theirs was not matched by the staff serving the seated bar area where we waited over 20 minutes for our second drink order to be taken. Overall hard to say why this bar would stand out in a crowded scene. Decent ambience is combined with a hit and miss service and pricey products .... left us thinking there must be more obviously satisfying after-work options in the neighbourhood. We'll keep looking.

The perfect place for a relaxing weekend lunch

Roberto's may be located in the financial district of the city, but that does not make it any less appealing to families and couples. The restaurant offers an extremely friendly and welcoming vibe on weekends with its relaxing ambiance, well lit atmosphere, extensive menu selection, delectable food and impressive service.

Our experience, from the moment we stepped in till the time we left exceeded our expectations in terms of the overall service, quality of food and value. The service was unparalleled with servers always being so attentive and available. We speed of service was exceptional and we never felt that the food or drinks were taking too long to arrive. The servers carefully assessed our needs and made sure we were offered suitable suggestions. For one, we mentioned at the start of the meal that we did not want alcohol, and the server kept that in mind while making food and drink suggestions.

The quality, taste, texture and presentation of food was unbeatable. So were the portions. The Burrata was a creamy and rich starter that was followed by perfectly cooked fettuccine and spaghetti, each in their unique sauces. To top it off, the La Mela apple tart combined the perfect sweet and tangy tastes with the warm tart and cold vanilla ice cream. The drinks too offered the perfectly refreshing accompaniment during the meal.

Overall, our experience was a delightful one, and I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend brunch or a romantic dinner.

I visited Roberto's on a trip to Dubai, when meeting a friend. He had been recommended the restaurant by a colleague who had really enjoyed going. I booked a table when I was still in the UK, and this was really quick and simple. I received a text to confirm my booking, so I was sure it had all gone through. The staff were excellent from start to finish and were always on hand to help us. They were very efficient and professional. The food was brilliant and there was a great choice. Everything we had was well cooked and was unpretentious, with decent portion sizes. The food wasn't cheap (starting at around £20+ for a main and over £100 for some steaks) but this was a high quality restaurant in a smart area of the city. We really enjoyed our visit and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

Roberto's Dubai is a fine dining restaurant in the heart of Dubai International Financial Centre. Clientele on our lunch visit were mostly businessmen. The dress code was smart casual. A warm greeting on entry was backed up by all staff being warm and friendly with smiles, and there were ample staff to meet all diners' needs. The bar lounge is spacious and well-appointed. The restaurant area is bright and furniture comfortable, but tables were placed very close together, even though the two of us were seated at a 4-place table. I feel more generous spacing would provide better conversation privacy and comfort zone. Staff were very attentive to all details, from seating to ordering, suggestions and recommendations, serving, clearing, checking needs and asking for feedback, bill presentation and fare welling. The menu has an broad and varied range of Italian fine cuisine, supported with a huge fine wine list. We enjoyed our appetisers, and the presentation was superb. The double gratis bread basket and pesto were excellent. Settings and facilities are impeccable. Main courses were equally tasty, and nicely presented. Service was fast for drinks and starters, and a good space allowed before the main course. Our waitress was punctual, professional, very attentive and met all our needs, even answering questions very informatively. This restaurant is highly recommended for fine diners and business professionals.

This was my second visit to Robertos and I must admit it wasn't as good as the first. The food was great and there is a good selection of authentic Italian food to choose from. The wine list is very extensive and there is a great range of cocktails, ranging from your standard ones to some more inventive signature creations. The service did seem to have declined a little from my last visit. Our waitress was great throughout the meal but last time I remember being blown away by the attentiveness of all the staff, and their attention to detail (cleaning and refolding napkin when I left the table to visit the toilets), this type of thing didn't seem to be there this time. We also had a bit of a query with the bill and it wasn't handled very well, so much so we were left feeling a bit awkward. The atmosphere was nice though, a buzzy environment with progressive house being played by a live DJ. It's a great spot for people watching and the view of the Burj Khalifa certainly isn't bad either!

Roberto's offers a real dining feast as the menu has a wonderful tasty variety of dishes. It has a friendly atmosphere as the staff greet you warmly as you enter and they appear keen to be of service to you. They know the menu and readily offer advice on both food and wine. The drawback for me is that Roberto's is very busy which means the service can be poor. The dining areas are not well planned as tables are fitted very closely together. Despite the fact there is a veranda which is open some people smoke cigars and the smoke drifts in hanging over the restaurant and lounge area. There is a no smoking area but you can still smell the smoke which is very off putting when the meals arrive beautifully presented and you are trying to taste every morsel but can smell cigar smoke. I was not impressed also by being so close to other diners. I do not want to listen to their conversation, neither do I want them listening to mine. It rather felt like being on a plane although the food was of a higher quality.

We visited Roberto's for lunch at the weekend. We arrived at 12.30, we were the only customers and were soon settled into our seats on the terrace and enjoying their signature cocktail Bellini, which was perfect and beautifully presented with a fresh flower. We moved into the attractive restaurant and again were seated on the terrace. We were served a complimentary selection of breads and dips which were fresh and hard to resist. I was surprised when my seafood spaghetti arrived as it was a very good portion and packed with an excellent selection of delicious seafood, my colleague had mushroom risotto which she also enjoyed and declared to be very tasty. Often pasta portions are small but this was certainly not the case at Roberto's. We could not decide if to have a dessert but our attentive waiter recommended the checkmate plate of Roberto's desserts to share, this was a good selection of chocolate, fruit, custard and cream confectionery, make sure you leave room for it. We finished with coffee and enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, the music was very pleasant and the ambiance had improved as the restaurant filled up. I would recommend Roberto's for a relaxing weekend lunch, maybe they should open a little later at the weekend perhaps 1pm to 4pm in the afternoon as they were filling up after 2pm. Great cocktails and even better pasta.

We arrived at Roberto's in the early evening in time to have a drink at the bar before our meal. The bar was fairly busy and we were offered a high table to sit at to enjoy our drinks which had a 'Reserved' sign on it before our meal. Only premium brands of spirits seem to be available at the bar, no standard brands. It would be nice to have the choice. There was a drinks menu describing cocktails and spirits for sale, lying on the counter which we picked up and browsed. Our bartender was very efficient making our two drinks simultaneously, the best bit was watching him pour a mixer with each hand to complete both of our drinks together! He placed our drinks on black drinks napkins at the bar and gave us a small metal bowl of mixed nuts to enjoy with our drinks, all of which we carried across to the table we had been offered to enjoy our drinks at. A hostess came to collect us from the bar at the time we had booked our table for and seated us, introducing us to our waiter at the same time. I was sitting on a settee type seat and my guest on a chair, the depth of the settee gave me a problem getting comfortable as it was very deep and our hostess offered me an extra cushion which really helped. This seems to be a design fault with the settee type seat as I noticed when another female, who took a seat at the table next to us, she had the same problem as me on the settee. We enjoyed our food, except for the TorTellacci, which was served as 7 small pasta packages in a sauce and left my guest disappointed and hungry, representing what we considered to be poor value for money! The lobster risotto however tasted good, it was served on a black plate against which its colour contrasted well. The real finds in the food were the apple tart and the tiramisu. Amazing! The apple pie was served resembling a space ship with a round apple pie topped with a ball of ice cream and a sesame biscuit, so much attention had been taken to detail and it tasted great. The tiramisu was rich, decadent and full of flavor. YUM! Our waiter said the Tiramisu was the best in Dubai, certainly a statement I would agree with. Bottles of grape start at 260aed up to 79,000aed! All the staff here are so well presented and this gives the place an air of sophistication and elegance, service is second to none, superior, discreet and timely. The location is special, with an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa this place comes into its own. Be prepared to spend though, as this all comes at a price!

We visited Robertos in DIFC on a sunday evening after work and it was surprisingly busy with a nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We had a drink in the bar first before an excellent meal in the restaurant. The bar area is lovely with views over the burj khalifa and an extensive drinks menu including a lovely selection of cocktails. I chose the famous Robertos Bellini which was presented in a shallow cocktail glass with Peach foam on the top and a pretty flower to garnish. We were presented with a lovely selection of Italian antipasti style bar snacks including a warm potato cake, mini bruschetta and tomato & mozzarella skewer. A lovely accompaniment to the drinks. After being shown through to the restaurant and ordering our food, we were presented with a large selection of fresh bread and dips which were delicious. To start with we shared the Caprino - goats cheese, beetroot carpaccio and caramelised walnuts. This was a good choice! The combination of ingredients works perfectly and the goats cheese is the best we'd ever had. As we had mentioned we intended to share the dish the waiter served the starter to our individual plates rather than placing it in the middle of us. We had the seafood risotto and Ravioli Toma for Main course. Both of which were delicious and very good value for money. They had an authentic Italian taste with homemade ingredients. The Ravioli was stuffed with cheese and served with a delicious sweet tomato sauce which the waiter explained was because of the small sweet Italian tomatoes they use. The seafood was fresh in a delicious risotto with fresh stock. We found a few shells from the seafood which we mentioned to the waiter and although we said it had not spoiled the dish in any way and we had thoroughly enjoyed it, the manager insisted on giving us a free dessert. So we filled with an espresso coffee creme brûlée which was a nice sweet ending to the meal. The overall evening was great with very enjoyable food in a lovely restaurant. The staff are so knowledgeable about the menu and we took the waiters recommendation of food and wine which we were pleased with. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a fine dining restaurant in an excellent location. The manager said the restaurant had just won an award for best Italian in Dubai and we could see why!

Wow! What can I say; I think I have found my new favourite restaurant in Dubai. The food at Roberto’s was simply divine. The goats cheese starter was really good, light and very flavoursome. The pasta was cooked just right, firm to bite and served at good temperature. With it being truffle season it was great to see a whole specials menu dedicated to truffles (including truffle ice cream!). The staff were great, extremely courteous, very attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The atmosphere was a young and stylish crowd. There was a live DJ playing bolero beats which really set the chilled yet buzzing atmosphere. I had the peach Bellini and it is probably one of the best cocktails I have ever had! We ate in the lounge area and the view was great, you can see right down to the Burj Khalifa which at night looked pretty special sparkling away. Only downside was that there isn’t a no smoking area and unfortunately we were surrounded by a number of smokers which was a bit of an annoyance. Although certainly not a cheap meal out, it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Worst restaurant ever food is not good and cheating on prices!

Posted by: Ele on 15 Aug ' 14 at 07:55

The overall dining experience at Roberto's was average, I would not go back to this venue for dinner but only perhaps for after-dinner drinks. The reason is mostly due to the atmosphere: it is too loud, music is too high, it is not a pleasant place where to have a dinner in 2 (better for a high-end trendy crowd). Moreover, too expensive given the food, which is good but average, nothing special. The menu is taken from the restaurant menu, it is just as expensive but less enjoyable given the venue unfortunately. A positive note goes to the Staff, which makes the effort to make the experience enjoyable: they are friendly, smiley, prompt in the service offered. However, again, given the positioning of the restaurant (and price paid) this is within expectations. One recommendation: the Lounge, if meant to serve food as well, should have a less costly and more accessible menu, with more finger food available. The set-up is that of a restaurant but the location is too noisy.

Our overall experience at Roberto's was very positive with a likely chance we will return. The atmosphere was very lively and would make an appropriate setting for a business dinner or for socializing with friends. The inside space is quite sizable so we did not too feel cramped or closed in. Depending on where you are seated, the music might get quite crowded. Also, the tables were a bit lower to the ground which made leg room under the table a bit less comfortable (but nothing too out of the ordinary). The staff was all very friendly and surprisingly attentive despite the large crowd. It would be great to see several additional items on the food menu but the beverage menu is quite extensive and impressive. With this said, what we did order tasted great. The tables are a bit close together so when the table next to us began smoking, it affected our table (my guest & I are both nonsmokers). Overall, great night out with some tasty food and beverages!

If you appreciate good quality of service - don't go to Roberto's! Staff are clueless about what they are serving and can't work efficiently. It took them nearly 1-hour to poorly serve our starter and then half hour gaps between each tiny course. If you plan to have a classic Italian 4-course meal, plan to be there 3-hours at least. Most of my guests left before desert was served. No Italian grace in the service. More awareness and competence from a local Indian street cafe. Food quality was good but what was the point. We didn't care by the time it arrived.

* Food not good dry and not well marinated all cheese based. * Music sound very annoying and loud for those having dinner..but just fine for those drinking on the counter!! * the Two Area dining & Drinking are mixed with very less spaces between the two area. Accessing table set is not easy mainly for groups. Or large family members.

Absolutely terrible food and incompetent mangagement and chefs... The night was only salvaged by the lounge area outside. Skip the food and head stright outdoors - the crudites are much better there than the overpriced attempt at fine dining in the restaurant.

Most overrated restaurant. awful service at very expensive price.

Terrible staff, very umpleasnt and disappointing communicatin and exteremly unfriendly interaction with the customers. We had a very poor experinece but what made us bear the evening is the only nice lady among this the staff (Abeer) who really deserves a better place to work at !!!!

We were invited back to Roberto's after experiencing it when it first opened hoping it would have improved and were disappointed by the service and quality of the food. My friend's steak was served cold and like rubber and even when she mentioned this to the waiter, he didn't replace it, even though she ate 2 bites. My pasta was over cooked and felt soggy and salty. Was surprised to learn also that Roberto's, Roberto himself who the restaurant was named after has also departed as was told by the waiter. Overall, we were very disappointed and the only thing going for this place is the bar area for drinks and people watching. We won't be back.

It would be helpful if someone would pick up the phone. I have been trying to call their reservations number for over an hour and it is always engaged! And this is not the first time I have had a problem making a booking. Luckily, I am not making the reservation for myself, but for someone else - looking at the reviews, I think I will give Roberto's a miss.

I have to say that despite all the bad reviews that I read, I went to the restaurants as I heard as per the word of mouth from few people that its good. I have to say that it was definitely a great place in terms of service, food and ambiance. I wanted to make sure to write a good review because it is so unfortunate that you read such bad reviews for such a good place. But again usually uNsatisfied customers are the ones who make the extra effort for the reviews unlike happy customers. But I would definitely go there again.
Freindly staff, Exceptional service, Excellent food such as scallops, carpaccio, calamari , beef tenderloin....all amazing
Would recommend to anyone who asks me

Hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had in Dubai. The staff were thoroughly incompetent, rude and pretentious.
Our starters were mediocre. We had the Melanzane and the Bresaola.
The main courses however were nothing short of foul. The Robertos Pizza was an old salad placed precariously atop a stale crisp bread smothered in oily raw meat. The so called sliced truffles were tasteless and no doubt originated from a jar. The Ravioli was very heavy and smothered in thick cream, lacking any kind of taste or seasoning; again, the truffles were completely absent, thoroughly contradicting the menu description.
The atmosphere was horrid, we were informed that our table was double booked so we had to eat quickly, and the air conditioning was a veritble Arctic wind pulverising our faces and making any kind of enjoyment impossible.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is quite frankly terrible.

Have heard a lot about Roberto,s so decided to take my family there for Dinner.
Was one of the best exprience i have had recently in Dubai from the time we arrived to the goodbye. We were being served by staff who
knew their product.

Keep up your good work and will be back.....

I went to Roberto's with my husband and our friends hoping to enjoy creative and tastful Italian cuisine but I wasn't impressed with what Roberto 's had to offer . The overall food was average and lacked any creativity in fact most of the dishes lacked any sort of seasoning ( the oven baked eggplant appetizer as an example) The signature Roberto's pizza was also disappointing and turned out to be a salad on a wafer thin crust ( does not qualify as a pizza crust) The grilled salmon was also dry and dull And the tuna carpaccio was extremely thinly sliced and lacked any taste The Ambience is not bad but not unique , the service is so slow and the waitress named Lolita served us wrong dish and the way she behaved was irritating need to be trained.... and the menu seems very pretentious compared to the food served

Went last week with a couple of friends and had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The meal started out fine, the drinks were good, the appetizers were nothing special, and the waiter service was excellent.

However the entrees were disastrous. The pastas and salmon were good, but the Wagyu beef was nothing short of disgusting. We had ordered it well done and it came burnt with a charcoal flavor. After a chat with the manager, he offered to re-fire another portion, but it still tasted awful, like eating cardboard. Once again we sent the dish back to the kitchen.

The manager was refused to accept our criticism and insisted that the reason we had an issue with the taste was due to us requesting it well done, and that it would have been fine at another temperature, which is absurd!

Nonetheless, he offered us complimentary desserts. The chocolate fondant, the cioccolata and the marshmallow were absolutely divine, I would have been happy to come back again ... Until the bill arrived and we saw that we had been charged for the steaks we did not eat as well the complementary dessert they had offered us!

This is resulted in a minor spat with the manager over the check, whose attitude and utter lack of professionalism and customer service ensured that we would not be returning to Roberto's or recommending it to anyone.

3 of us went for drinks the other night, drinks were great but never has I witnessed the so called lounge manager being so unuseful. His attitude towards us as we are not Lebanese was on the verge of disgusting. After trying to get his attention serveral times to get a beverage menu again, he just sat down at the table next to us & started drinking, he made no attemp to organize a beverage menu what so ever. The only time he talked to the staff he was yelling at them infront of all the guests.
If this is a sign of the management, im sorry but the crowd will soon dissapear.
If its friendly service you are looking for, stay out of the lounge!

Went to Robertos with family visiting from Italia and was sad to experience below average service and food. The food ran late and was nothing special consider the location and high price. The Milanese tasted like rubber with very stale potato and my fathers main arrived cold and salty. We were very disappointed as we had high expectation. Can't say will go back.

Went to Roberto's with friends to celebrate a birthday and it was quite the experience. Our drinks were late, our appetizers arrived cold, salad greens stale. Sea bass was fishy and tasteless as my main course. 2 of my friends main course arrived 20 min after us and as we waited for them to eat, most of us ate super cold food. My friends pasta with seafood had shellfish that tasted fishy and not properly cleaned.. Besides my friends birthday dessert, the whole experience was horrible. Doubt will venture in for another year and hopefully by then they would have improved. Such a shame though as nice interior.

My visit at Roberto's wasn’t the best experience of my life....probably one of the worst in fact. My friend said it was the most chaotic service since he had visited India 20 years ago.
From the start I have noticed that waiting staff had very little knowledge about the food or wine. Starters were very disappointing so was bread basket. Looked hideous and contained of very weird, soft cake like ciabatta. My beef carpaccio was tender but the rocket on top was old, wilted down and looked like just thrown on the plate. My friend's mozzarella was just ok although the state of the plate was shocking when arrived to the table. My friend commented " there is more finger prints on it as it is in Brooklyn's crime scene plus it was dirty!
When mains arrived I wanted to leave. My tuna steak which I ordered rare, came well done and with a garnish of long dark hair. Had to tell 2 people for tuna to leave the table after 10 min of waiting. I was offered a pasta dish while I was waiting for a new steak.
Tortellini was ok although very heavy. 5 little tortellini’s were swimming in a half pint of cream! I have cancelled the tuna immediately.
As a nice touch we have been offered 2 desserts to cheer us up which was quite nice gesture. When bill arrived i was very disappointed once again seeing tuna, tortellini and even dessert showing on it!
Well what can I say? I wont be going there any more for a while. We will give a few months for a team to work on their performance.

Business lunch ended up being a 2 hr waste of time. A group of 10 ppl, we all ordered our main courses at the same time. The pizza arrived 10 min after ordering, whilst the ceasar salad arrived 1hr and 15min later. The seabass arrived uncooked and had to be taken away and the ravioli was too salty. The manager was very apologetic and offered us desert on the house since it was my friends birthday and a discount on the bill. Music was too loud. Overall will not be going back for a long time until they get their act together

Amazing venue, but terrible service, tasteless food and anoying singer (worst voice in town with a heavy italian accent that ruins all the nonitalian songs). i suggest more training, more practize in the kitchen and gt a new singer. There was however a fantastic waiter from east europe very charming and help us a lot, not like the rest of the staff.
