The first thing you notice about Lalezar’s menu is that it’s far from cheap. Located on the Palm at the palatial Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, it’s described as Dubai’s first Anatolian restaurant (Anatolia being present day Turkey). Upon arrival, we’re struck by the spectacular decor. Ornately columned arches, shiny tiles (in rich greens, reds and golds), velvet and silk drapes, painted murals and majestic proportions lend a truly regal sense to proceedings. Weather permitting, there’s the option to dine on the hotel’s large terrace, where tables are spaced generously apart, conversely affording guests an intimate sense of privacy. With the pleasant water feature and view over the hotel’s lush gardens, while it’s certainly romantic, it doesn’t match the sense of occasion in the restaurant itself. When it comes to the food, the menu is a traditionally Turkish affair, with kebab and fish dishes featuring heavily. The presentation and quality are at the expected level but don’t quite justify the prices. We’d say visit Lalezar on special occasions to enjoy the magnificent surroundings and faultless service.
Open Sun-Thu 3pm-midnight; 12.30pm-midnight. Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah, www.jumeirah.com (04 453 0000).

This has got to be the worst Iftar venue ever - what a rip off
They bring the food to your table at snails pace and the joke is the restaurant is tiny in comparison to others in Dubai
It took us two hours to finish an abysmal Iftar - the food was scarce, (who ever serves one main bbq (4 skewer) course for 3 ppl), cold and just overall disgusting
I am never coming back again - theives

Well done to Jumeirah. I think it was a very good choice to open a Turkish restaurant.

I think the prevous experience which is mention in the below comment is a little bit unluck. I had a recent dinner there and it was a perfect and a remarkable dinner. Staff is very attentive, food is very good. I will definitly visit the restaurant again.

I personally liked the restaurant’s decor. Starters were amazing. The only low point I noticed about this restaurant was their staff's organizational skills. As we were celebrating my spouse's birthday, I specifically asked for the complimentary birthday cake which they offered me during my booking. Thanks to the staff's miscommunication, the cake did not make it to our table!! Not sure if they forgot it or they did it on purpose! Their staff definitely requires a course on how to communicate with each other.

No Doubt to go there, I think all dubai was waiting a Turkish restaurant like this one. Congrontulations to Jumeirah.

Could not book a table BUT when telling the restaurant we were staying at the hotel - a table was found. Restaurant more than half empty for the duration of our dinner - so why could we not book ? They were not busy.

Nobody seemed to want to take our food order.
Starters were ok - but not very authentic.
Main courses were very poor, badly presented (one with yoghurt still had the shape of the yoghurt pot quite visible). Tasted & looked nothing special.

Very disappointing.

I dont really understand How they compare the street restauran to a first class one. I have been living here for a long time and I have been at so many places, istanbul flowers is ok for its segment, but Lalezar restaurant I think should be place somwehere high up as it has an outstanding interior and first class service and food.

Disappointing - stick to Istanbul Flower.

The interior of the restaurant is amazing, had made walls, imported tiles are just georgeus and of course there is nothing to say for food and the service, just perfect.

Very good food and excellent service. We had dinner at Lalezar and it was little bit hard to book as they are always full.
Nothing else to say; superb starters, delicous main courses and mouth watering deserts along with an outstanding service...

We went to lalizar for lunch, and since the weather was nice we had our lunch outside. The seating has views of the pool and the beach.... The food was excellent. We had Lentil Soup for starter which came with Melted cheese inside it adding richness to the taste... We then started with Vine leaves and had Iskandar as our main course... The meat was excellent and so was the service. We were so full that we couldn't try the desserts. They also serve Shisha Enjoyed it over all

Ensure that you call to book prior going as it is usually full specially for dinner
