Best Bar food winner

The new Left Bank venue at the Souk Al Bahar is the deserving of the best bar food award. It has a sophisticated atmosphere and relaxed, cool vibe, and its concept for bar food is fresh (the chorizo makes a nice alternative to fish and chips).  It is easily our favourite bar opening of the year to boot, so we could see no reason not to give it the top title.

As resident of the area I've been to Left Bank a few times and although its a really nice place with great decor, the food and service have yet to come up to an impressive standard. The staff are phoning it in and there's a general lack of a polished service offering. This is a prime location. Must try harder.

I am guessing that the previous reviews are staff or family of staff. This place does not hold a candle to the Madinat venue.Probably the worst value-for-money in Dubai. 80 Dirhams for a "nothing special" burger with 5 fries and 75 Dirhams for a frozen portion of fish 'n chips also with 5 fries? Who are they kidding?Tartare sauce is not available for the dry fish 'n chips as apparently the customers don't want it?!? This will be the first and last time I get food at this place.

Not sure how this is an award winning place? Burger King can do a better job. Service staff and management were cold and indifferent. When asked for a food menu we were met with a "yeah yeah". Save your money and go elsewhere!

i will recommend this place to other people. service wise everybody are friendly and best service at all times.....

if i care to have a good dinner i will go to fine dining restaurant... but if i like to have a drinks together with the food & chill out with my friends i stay at left bank.....

The Drinks are Excellent but service a bit slow at times.

Food is great for a Bar and Value for Money.

Beggars belief that this place gets nominated for an award.

Slow service, horrible décor, tiny portions, vastly overpriced, and so on.

Who would go to a mini-mall to eat somewhere like this? Especially when the excellent Rivington Grill is a minute’s walk away.

My favourite bar in Dubai by far! Serving fab cocktails along with amazing tasting bar food.

Left Bank at Souk Al Bahar definitely has more class about it than Madinat.

The staff are always very helpful & friendly.

I absolutely adore the new Left Bank venue. The cocktails are the best, and its the only bar in Dubai that has real class! Love it!
