Rare didn’t have a splashy launch party, or send out a barrage of emails when it opened its doors. Rather, it quietly started serving the best steaks and game in town. It was almost by good fortune that the judges this year stumbled upon the scenic restaurant, which overlooks a polo field from its low-lit terrace. What startled us most of all was the expertly prepared food. Not a single course let us down: desserts were as moan-inducing as our guinea fowl starter, and the steaks could tempt a wavering vegetarian.

The staff at Rare were absolutely brilliant. Such a wonderful experience. Food was excellent and the decor was very relaxing.
Overall a fabulous experience.

They really do what they do well. Creative dogs. Creative menu. Creative decor. Creative logo. I can pop in and get a quick meal and fell like I've treated myself to something special.
