Time Out Dubai has the lowdown on the best burgers in Dubai, from fast food joints to some of the best restaurants in Dubai. Just check out the pictures
Okay, so we’re not advocating trying one of these every day, but we’d be lying if we didn’t tell you quite how much you’d probably enjoy it.
From sliders to slop, kobe beef to Cajun chicken (and even quinoa), this list has a little something for everyone.
Time Out sensibly split the job of Dubai Burger Taster across our team – otherwise our sport and outdoor section might feel a little left out. And to help you out, we’ve divided the list below into convenient groups.
Here’s the complete list of locations: Burger & Lobster, Big Smoke Burger, Five Guys, Burger Pit, The Burger Joint, Habibi Burger, Elevation Burger, Moylo’s, Salt, Reform Social & Grill, Retro Feasts, The Rose & Crown, Johnny Rockets, Shake Shack, Buns & Cows, Perry & Blackwelder, The Eloquent Elephant, The Backyard, Nando’s, BurgerFuel, The Tap House, Under 500, Mooyah, Garden on 8, Brunswick Sports Club, Switch and Circle Café.
If you’re vegetarian you’re probably thinking this feature isn’t for you, but you needn’t miss out on all the burger joy. Not only does Mooyah do excellent beef burgers, the black bean version also needs a mention. It’s soft and tasty – no processed, mashed vegetable patties in here. And the fact that you can build your own means you can pick and choose from an array of veggies and sauces. Go for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun if you’re watching your carbs. From Dhs30.
The combo of sweet potatoes and kidney beans in this burger makes a refreshing change to your standard veg patty. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and it’s topped with mushrooms and spinach. It’s an absolutely humungous portion, though, so bring your appetite. Dhs68.
This little slice of veggie tastiness is a firm favourite within the Time Out Dubai team. The patty is made from roasted sweet potato, then topped with capsicum jam (that’s peppers for the Brits out there), grilled onions and a smooth avocado salsa. It’s seriously flavourful, very well-portioned and just generally delicious.Dhs69.
Brand-new to the popular bagel and salad chain’s offerings this month is this vegetarian gem. Sandwiched between a lightly toasted bun is a combination of baked sweet potato, brown rice, garlic, chilli, fried red onions, fresh, crunchy lettuce and sliced tomato, slathered with spicy mayo, avocado and a jalapeño relish. And if you haven’t quite got your five-a-day fix from that, each burger comes served with a side of sweet potato crisps. (What? They count…) Dhs58.
