International House of Pancakes: America’s version of the greasy spoon

I do not know why everybody complaining. We go there very often, and never experienced bad service or poor quality of food.
Tastes exactly the same as in US.
Maybe people just confusing it with fine dinning restaurant. It is a breakfast place, IHOP stands for International House of Pancakes and this is what it known for. As far as you will have a breakfast item, you will be very satisfied with your choice of food!

We only ordered pancakes and an egg sandwich, overall it tasted good but the syrup was average and service was okay. I'd suggest not to eat a meal there, rather go there for breakfast.

Truly Terrible Experience

We went to iHop, JBR. Regarding the place, we waited 20 minutes to be seated in the corner of the restaurant which we accessed via the wall and a column which was approximately 35cm. This was not a good start!
They then requested us to stand up twice whilst we were eating so that the engineer could check the fusebox. In the meantime, the ladies' toilets weren't working properly. The flush nor the locks worked. So should you need to use the toilet please prepare to use your foot as a manual lock!
Now regarding the food, the appetizer (onion rings, chicken strips, mozarella sticks) was full of oil, nothing special at all. For our main course, we tried the cheeseburger which was inedible, no seasoning or taste, the meat was terribly cooked so imagine for a huge US fast-food to serve me the worst burger I've tasted.
Also, regarding the syrups, I don't advise you to try the fruit-flavoured ones. They taste like plastic, as stated in the article above.
We do not recommend wasting your money.
