No, I would never think of going back to this restaurant again!
Not because of the service, the food, the decor or the ambience, I am sure these would all be fine but because of the way the manager and the reservation team runs the restaurant.
I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday along with 10-12 friends on 27th November 2014, for which I called the restaurant on 25th November 2014. The nice lady at the reservation took my details and I was told that I would get a confirmation email from the restaurant and I will have to provide credit card details to complete the reservation.
I specifically told that I would need open air to have sheesha, drinks followed by dinner.
Having received no calls or emails from the restaurant I called back the restaurant again on 26th November 2014 and spoke with the restaurant manager Mr. Grant. I received a verbal confirmation and the same reply that I would get an email confirmation.
I got no confirmation till 27th November 2014 evening. Having spoken to the manager I was assured that noting would go wrong but thank god I called the hotel to double check. This time my reservation was confirmed I got a message from the Hotel confirming the reservation vide reservation number 5120138.
Soon after receiving the SMS, I got a call back from the hotel stating that the area where they serve sheesha was hosting a private function and hence I will have to change my reservation.
I requested to speak with the manager Mr. Grant but he was either too busy or simply non courteous to answer the several calls or call back!!

The above review is confusing. Difficult to say if the place is recommended or not. Especially since the reviewer happens to be served by the Chef himself...(it is a kinda magic).
To make it short, the food is not bad. The service is not bad but not great either.
Problem is other places can do the same for cheaper. Let's go not far, if we stay with Jumeirah, Noodle House frankly does it better and cheaper.
For example, we had the '"confused"' peking duck. I was just confused why 150 or 200 gr of duck meat would be priced at 120 or 130 dhs in an average place. The Singapore noodles were ok for 60 dhs, other outlets can do better for slightly less.
Overall ambiance is nice, especially outside. Service was impersonal and not particularly efficient, like in many other places in Dubai....just too bad that the sparkling water was room temperature and flat.
