Anatolia Turkish Grill

I used to come with an opened heart at this resto. Great food, ambiance and customer service... in the past. I have booked on a Tuesday (7th of july2015) a table for 2 or 3 for the iftar of the following thursday (9th of july 2015). I had a guest commuting from abu dhabi just for this iftar. When i have reached on thursday at the restaurant, the host treated me like i was a begger begging for food talking to me through the door cracked opened, telling me that they don't have available tables, not even listening to me when i told her that we have a reservation. Upon requesting in talking with the manager, i have explained to him that we had a reservation and it seems they missed it. He literarily shrugged his shoulders and gave me the most annoying smirk proudly announcing that they have no available table with the usual useless "i am sorry". No explanation, no intention to correct the stupidity of the matter. Feeling embarrassed in front of my guest for having him take the hustle of travelling from abu dhabi on iftar time i just chose to turn and leave as i have never seen such incompetence at that level. I am angry, disappointed and frustrated. i will NEVER come to this restaurant again (i used to come once or twice per week) and i will give the worse reviews to all my family and friends. Thanks for being among my highest disappointments with regards to restaurants in Dubai.

Dear Time Out Dubai,
Anatolia Turkish Grill is a purely Turkish Food Joint. It has got only traces of Arabic/Lebanese food.
The options in Veg dishes side was slightly limited considering egg-plant is omnipresent across all the dishes. It would be better to have some items in Potatoes or other seasonal vegetables.
Overall a nice place to for a change of taste buds..a departure from the usual Indian,Chinese or Continental food...

Dear TimeOut Dubai,
The name says Anatolia Turkish Grill but you write Lebanese cuisine... It is not a Lebanese Restaraunt with my due respect to Lebanese cuisine.... it is 100% Turkish restaurant. It is like mixing Italian and French cuisine. Please rectify it.
