Fuego

This modern Mexican concept in Souk Al Bahar has the style and sophistication of a cool lounge bar and is as far removed from the Tex-Mex style as possible, while still serving fajitas. An artfully-presented ceviche selection comes in mini shot glasses of tuna, red snapper and shrimp flavours with a tangy bite provided by the citrus marinade. The portions are good for sharing and we recommend splitting a Fuego Sampler with your fellow diner to try mushroom quesadilla, chicken flautas and fiery jalapenos. Look beyond the usual selections (although you won’t be disappointed by the fajita selection) and try different Mexican dishes such as a lamb shank barbacoa (wrapped in a banana leaf and served with Mexican rice) or a stomach-busting ‘Molcajete Special’, which is a Mexican version of the mixed grill. You would be hard pressed to find a broader or better Mexican menu in the city. Fuego

Amazing experience. One of the best Mexican restaurants i have visited, the best part was they have a dedicated MENU for Vegetarians....not just a few dishes dotted in but a proper MENU....Food was excellent, service staff very friendly, value for money and everything right about the look and feel, outdoor would have been an advantage but i guess that should not matter as they nailed other things right!

I quite enjoyed the food at Fuego, The portions were adequate, the taste was good enough. Being vegetarian, its very difficult to find good international cuisine that you enjoy. The chef here made sure we werent disappointed. I'd recommend this!

Ate here recently and it was quite honestly one of the worst meals I have ever had - a sentiment that was echoed by every single other person at my table. The food was inferior even to what you would get at Taco Bell, much of it was very obviously not fresh, and we had to send several meals back as they were inedible. Do NOT go here!

I'm a half Mexican Texa and have been to Fuego twice. While I wish the atmosphere had a bit more Mexican flair, the food is authentic Mexico City style cuisine. I really did not think I would find Mexican street corn in Duabi and alas, here it is at fuego. I have enjoyed everything I have had here (with the exception of the tamales - too dense for my taste). This is the only authentic mexican restaurant I have been to in Dubai.
