I was there for Brunch on the 27th and there was a cockroach on my table while i was eating my Dimsum
The food was horrible and cold

My wife & i have just eaten at 'Peacocks' at the Sheraton & the food was fantastic, granted we didn't try the dim sum.
We had chicken noodle soup & duck spring rolls to start, followed by sweet & sour chicken & beef with spring onion. Could not fault the food, nothing super fancy or pretentious, just wonderfully fresh tasty food. Dress code wasn't an issue either, I had shorts on!! Decor was very calming & relaxed & the staff were lovely.
We will certainly be returning on our next trip to Dubai.

Worst dim sum in the history of the world.
Was there first thing and the dim sum was already stale. Flavors were terrible and lasted with you the rest of the day unfortunately.
After living in hong Kong for three years the expectations for dim sum in Dubai were low, but this place was just pathetic.

The weekend dim sum deal is excellent. It comes hongkong-style in a trolley where you pick and choose. Selection is steamed, deepfried, panfried, soups and some fruits. The panfried stuff (momo's) is unique in Dubai and within the steamed stuff they got some real gems (which are not even listed on the regular card).
No idea why this place is so underrated - it's not flashy but the food quality is way better than china sea - it costs about the same and the location is much better.

A dim sum session without pork buns is like walking without a limb, totally LOVE their juicy pork buns and juice-sputtering dumplings!
Definitely worth going back again.
Sadly their only congee selection wasn't available. IF only they have more dim sum selections such as: turnip cake, congee, sticky rice etc.
