Originally opened in New York, this spot in Citywalk represents Dubai’s first branch of the stateside burger concept. The decor of the restaurant is striking, with a mass of exposed brickwork and fresh graffiti, flanked by railings and ladders in the style of New York’s iconic fire escapes. The menu is a very minimal list scrawled onto a piece ripped out of a cardboard box. The selection consists of one type of burger, with or without cheese, with a double or single beef patty. The bread itself, a simple white bun, is nothing special, while the beef tastes pleasantly lean and meaty. The peripheries of burger dining are also available, including one type of French fries and several milkshake flavours. This addition to Dubai’s already bursting-at-the-seams burger scene isn’t a gourmet option, but the concept and interior have quirky charm.
