  • Gaucho
  • Weekend special at indie (Sunday , Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , Friday , Saturday)

The newly opened restaurant in DIFC (above Gaucho) is spicing up the formal business lunch. Its sharing menu comprises spicy rock chicken, beef carpaccio, roasted salmon fillet, edamame and penne arrabiata, all from Dhs99, and served during a regular working week.
    Timings: Noon-3.30pm

  • Mini burgers (Sunday)

Russell Crowe is a front runner when it comes to edge-of-your-seat thrillers. And The Next Three Days is a leader in that genre. Settle in the leathery, cosy interiors of Gaucho (with free popcorn, mini burgers and nachos) to watch the perfect family man fight the law and plot a masterplan to free his wife from prison. Dhs100 per person (including cinema food and soft drinks).

  • Roast lunch (Saturday)

Grab your best buddies and head for a Saturday roast with an Argentinian twist. With two meats on offer and all the classic trimmings, there’s enough fine fare on offer to help you forget those pre-work blues, at least for one more day. Dhs185 per person.
    Timings: Noon-11pm

  • Friday brunch (Friday)

An á la carte selection of meaty Argentine mains, plus unlimited starters and dessert, all served at the table. Dhs320 (soft drinks). Dhs395 (house beverages). Dhs495 (bubbly).
    Timings: Noon-4pm

Sophisticated, stylish, masculine, chic – it is easy to run out of superlatives to describe this venue. It would be easiest to say it does not disappoint on any level, and that is why it is regularly packed with city slickers appreciating the finer things. The chrome fittings, monochrome palette and cow print chairs would feel ostentatious in a less confident restaurant, but here, along with the knowledgeable and stylish staff, it comes across as self-assured. Steaks are the specialty here, and staff will explain the numerous and well-procured cuts at length. Simply put, if you can afford premium prices, you can have a steak here that you will never forget. But before that, try the duck and beef empanadas, and round off your meal with a salted dulche de leche and hazelnut cheesecake. It’s clear that Gaucho is up there with the top tier of Dubai restaurants
